B.J. Moyer - B.J. started with GuideOne in 1990 as an agent in Oklahoma. In 1991 B.J. and Becky, moved to Lee's Summit and opened Moyer & Moyer Insurance Agency, Inc. B.J. chose to specialize in auto/home and life insurance. Helping individuals protect their assets while being the best steward of their money is his desire. Away from the office B.J. teaches Sunday school, and is involved with Men's Ministry at his church. Spending time with Becky and his two adult daughters puts a smile on his face, along with golf.
Becky Moyer - Becky has been with GuideOne Insurance for 30 years, starting her career as a national trainer before becoming the first woman state sales manager for the company. During that time, she selected and trained many successful agents who are still with GuideOne today. Twenty years ago, Becky and B.J. returned to Missouri and started Moyer & Moyer Insurance Agency, where Becky specializes in insuring churches and other religious organizations. Raised the daughter of a pastor and serving as treasurer in her local church has provided her with insight and passion for helping churches be good stewards of their insurance budgets. She and B.J. feel blessed to have celebrated 28 years of marriage and to be the parents of two adult daughters.
Denise DesCombes - After graduating from college in 1996, Denise began in insurance with a large brokerage firm. In 2000, she joined Moyer & Moyer assisting Becky with commercial business. Denise serves as a church specialist and also works with commercial business insurance. Through involvement in a local church and service in various ministry roles, Denise understands the need to be the best steward of your insurance dollar. Money saved is money for ministry. Her heart's desire is to provide service that exceeds expectations. Away from the office, Denise and her husband enjoy spending time in the outdoors with their two sons.
Gina Gunsallus - Gina Gunsallus has worked in the commercial insurance field for over 20 years. She has experience in commercial underwriting, customer service and marketing. When not assisting others with their business insurance needs, she serves in Women's Ministry and Children's Sunday school at her church. Gina is married with two children and enjoys reading, crafts, antiquing and spending time with her family.
Jan Irwin - Jan Irwin has worked in the insurance world for over 10 years. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for many years; they have two adult children and are enjoying their first grandchild. She has served in a variety of areas at her church, with a special place in her heart for children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, photography, snow skiing in Colorado, and hiking in the mountains and deserts of New Mexico and sampling the local foods.
Kat Moyer - Kat Moyer, BJ and Becky's youngest daughter, is joining Moyer & Moyer to work with the commercial staff primarily in the areas of risk management and marketing. She has experience working in church administration and knows the importance of safety and lowering chances of risk. She currently resides in Lee's Summit with her sister where she is active in serving at her church.
Dawn VanDrunen - Dawn has worked in the field of insurance for the past eight years. She has had opportunity to work in both commercial and personal lines. As a former customer service representative in banking, she understands the high value that comes with detail and accuracy. Through involvement in church finance, she understands the importance of being a good steward with that which has been entrusted. As a former pastor's wife, she also knows the importance of making one's dollar stretch.
